SOLUNA Yoga and Wellness – Liability Waiver & Release of Claims

Acknowledgment of Risk

I understand that yoga involves physical movement, breathwork, stretching, and relaxation, and that participation in yoga classes includes inherent risks of injury, even under proper supervision. I acknowledge that I am physically fit to participate and will inform the instructor of any pre-existing medical conditions, injuries, or limitations before class. It is my responsibility to consult with a physician regarding my participation in yoga or other wellness activities offered at SOLUNA Yoga and Wellness, and I agree to take full responsibility for my own health and well-being during each session.

Assumption of Risk & Premises Liability

By participating in classes, workshops, or events at SOLUNA Yoga and Wellness, I knowingly and voluntarily assume all risks associated with physical activity, including but not limited to injury, strain, or accident. I also understand that SOLUNA Yoga and Wellness, its instructors, and staff are not responsible for injuries or accidents that may occur on the premises—whether before, during, or after class—and whether or not related to yoga participation. This includes, but is not limited to, slips, trips, falls, or use of restrooms, retail areas, changing areas, outdoor walkways, or other studio facilities. I accept full responsibility for my safety while on or about the premises.

Waiver & Release

I hereby release, indemnify, and hold harmless SOLUNA Yoga and Wellness, its instructors, staff, contractors, and affiliates from any and all liability, claims, demands, or causes of action arising out of or related to my participation in any activity, class, or event, or from my presence on the studio premises. I understand that SOLUNA Yoga and Wellness is not responsible for loss or theft of personal items.

Public Health & Communicable Illness

I acknowledge that participation in group settings may expose me to communicable illnesses, and that SOLUNA Yoga and Wellness is not liable for any illness contracted as a result of participation.

Zero Tolerance Policy: Hate Speech & Sexual Harassment

Our community is built on respect, safety, and inclusivity. We are committed to providing a space where all individuals—regardless of race, ethnicity, gender identity, sexual orientation, religion, body type, or ability—feel welcome, valued, and safe.

As such, we enforce a zero tolerance policy for:

  1. Hate Speech or Discrimination- Any form of discriminatory language, behavior, or action—including racism, homophobia, transphobia, ableism, sexism, or xenophobia—is strictly prohibited.

  2. Sexual Harassment- Unwelcome sexual advances, verbal or physical conduct of a sexual nature, inappropriate comments, gestures, or contact will not be tolerated under any circumstances. This applies to students, teachers, staff, and visitors.

Violations of This Policy

Anyone found to be in violation of this policy will be subject to immediate action, which may include:

  • Removal from the class or premises

  • Termination of studio access or membership without refund of outstanding classes

  • Reporting to appropriate authorities, if necessary

Creating a Safe Space

We all share responsibility for maintaining a respectful and inclusive environment. If you experience or witness any behavior that violates this policy, please notify a staff member or teacher immediately. All reports will be taken seriously and handled with care and confidentiality.

This waiver must be signed on MindBody the first time registering for services with Soluna Yoga and Wellness. If the participant is under 18 years of age, this release must be signed by a parent or legal guardian.
